about me

My name is Joyti Sharma and I am a 24 year old professional Freelance Journalist and Radio Broadcaster, based in the West Midlands. I have worked for many big name companies such as ITV's Dickinsons Real Deal, BBC Asian Network, Beacon Radio, Galaxy 102.2, 100.7 Heart FM and Wolverhampton’s The Wolf.  As a journalist, I have interviewed The Apprentice runner up Ruth Badger and Punjabi legend Gurdas Maan.

I have a 2:1 in media and communication studies and have successfully completed an NCTJ Journalism course. The NTCJ is fundamental for a successful career in journalism and has enabled me to push myself further.

I enjoy travelling; reading and listening to music and these pastimes provide me with the necessary inspiration when writing or broadcasting. I believe that anything can make a good story if written or presented correctly so if you have something worth saying, no matter where in the world you are, get in touch.
